Michael Spurlock
Michael Spurlock, 48, died on January 19, 2019, while held at the Arkansas Department of Correction maximum security unit in Tucker. According to a department news release, staff found him unresponsive in his cell during a security check, and medics were called, but he was pronounced dead about eight minutes later. The department has not stated a cause or manner of death, and the Arkansas State Police and the Department of Correction are investigating.
