Michael Rudkin
Michael Rudkin, a former federal correctional officer, was held at USP Terre Haute in Indiana. According to two people familiar with the matter who spoke to the Associated Press, he was beaten in an altercation with another person held there on the evening of Monday, August 23, 2021, and died the following day at a local hospital. The Bureau of Prisons said staff found him unresponsive and began medical aid before emergency crews took him to the hospital. His death is being investigated as a possible homicide.
