Michael Roark
Michael Roark, 52, of Seaford, Delaware, died while held at Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown. The Delaware Department of Correction announced his death in a news release, and sources differ on the date, which is listed as either September 12 or September 13, 2023. According to WBOC TV, prison staff found him in medical distress in the infirmary early in the morning, and he was pronounced dead at Beebe Medical Center later that day. His cause and manner of death have not been determined, and the Delaware State Police Division of Forensic Science is conducting an independent investigation.
