Michael Richard Sprango
Michael Richard Sprango, 56, died on September 12, 2014, while held at the Lerdo pretrial facility in Kern County, California. The Kern County Sheriff's Office said detention deputies found him slumped over in his cell around 10 p.m. and that he was pronounced dead at the scene. Sheriff's homicide detectives investigated the circumstances of his death, and an autopsy was planned.
