Michael Purtelle
Michael Purtelle, of North Adams, died suddenly on October 24, 1894, at Lincoln, Massachusetts, while being taken from the court to a prison cell. The Waterbury Evening Democrat reported his death the same day but gave no cause of death and no details of what happened.
