Michael Patrick O’Neill

Michael Patrick O'Neill, 40, was held at the Sedgwick County Jail in Wichita. The sheriff's office said he was found unresponsive in his cell on the morning of Monday, October 31, 2022. Medical staff responded, and fire and EMS were called, but he was pronounced dead shortly after they arrived. The sheriff's office, its investigations unit and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are investigating, and the cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
