Michael Moore, 35, died on August 22, 2026, while held at Lansing Correctional Facility in Kansas. The Kansas Department of Corrections said he was found unresponsive in his cell. The department and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are investigating, and an independent autopsy will determine the cause of death, which is pending.
