Michael Mijarez
Michael Mijarez, 44, of Coachella, became ill while held at the Riverside County Jail in Indio. He was taken to John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital, where he died on December 27, 2017, about eight hours after deputies found him ill. Investigators have not disclosed a cause of death, and officials said there was no indication of foul play. The Riverside County coroner's office is handling the investigation into his death.
