Michael Martin McDonnell
Michael McDonnell, 71, died on February 19, 2023, while held at the Oregon State Penitentiary in Salem, where he had been for nearly 40 years. He was receiving end-of-life hospice care at a hospital near the prison when he died, the Oregon Department of Corrections said. The department announced the death but said it could not release a cause of death.
