Died in prison
Michael Lee Hochgreve
Michael Lee Hochgreve, 77, died on August 19, 2026, at Snake River Correctional Institution in Ontario, Oregon, where he was held in the prison infirmary and receiving hospice care, according to the Oregon Department of Corrections. The department said Oregon State Police were notified, as they are for all in-custody deaths. The state medical examiner will determine the cause of death, and no cause has been announced.
