Michael L. Hands
Michael L. Hands, 51, a former Long Island priest, was found dead in a cell at the Saratoga County jail in New York on February 27, 2018. The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said a corrections officer found him unresponsive during a routine check in the early morning and called for help. He was pronounced dead at Saratoga Hospital, and authorities describe the death as an apparent suicide. An autopsy was scheduled, and the state Commission of Correction is investigating.
