Michael Kennith Jorgenson, 24, died in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, 2025, while held at the Shasta County Jail in Redding, California. According to the Shasta County Sheriff's Office, another person held there alerted staff, and he was found without a pulse in his cell. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:05 a.m. The sheriff's office said there were no signs of foul play, and the cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
