Michael Jared Fancher
Michael Fancher, 29, died on September 1, 2019, while held at Larned Correctional Mental Health Facility in Pawnee County, Kansas. According to a Kansas Department of Corrections statement, he was taken to The University of Kansas Health System's Pawnee Valley Campus, where staff pronounced him dead at about 2:11 p.m. The department said the cause of death is pending an autopsy, and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death under standard protocol for deaths in state prison custody.
