Michael “Denny” Wrobel
Michael "Denny" Wrobel was a snowboard instructor who was devoted to his young daughter, Cedar, and his wife, Autumn Lachendro, remembers his humor and his singing. He died in December 2023 while held at the El Paso County jail in Colorado. According to his autopsy, a series of medication errors followed, in which he was given the wrong insulin, then methadone, then Narcan, and the sequence of events was confusing. Lachendro believes he should have been taken to a hospital that night and that it would have saved his life, and she is working with an attorney on a lawsuit against Wellpath.
