Michael Cruse
Michael Cruse, 51, of Easley, died at the Pickens County Detention Center in South Carolina early on April 9, 2024. The Pickens County sheriff's office and the county coroner's office said detention staff found him unresponsive during a routine check, and that life-saving measures were attempted without success. The State Law Enforcement Division was notified and is investigating along with the coroner's office. The cause and manner of death are pending.
