Michael Anthony Locke
Michael Anthony Locke, 33, of Greenville, died in May 2022 while held at the Greenville County Detention Center. A Post and Courier report gave his date of death as May 28, 2022, and said two other men had died at the jail weeks earlier, while a WYFF report dated his death to May 31 and said he died at a Prisma Health emergency room after being taken from the jail. The Greenville County Coroner's Office said an autopsy was performed, but the cause and manner of death were still pending while lab results were awaited. The South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division and the Greenville County Sheriff's Office are investigating his death.
