Michael Aineta
Michael Aineta, 40, died on October 4, 2023, after being taken from Lansing Correctional Facility in Lansing, Kansas, to KU Medical Center, where hospital staff pronounced him dead. The Kansas Department of Corrections said it and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are investigating the death. The cause of death was still pending an independent autopsy at the time of the report.
