Maurice Grier
Maurice Grier was 21 when he died on October 29, 2013, while held at the Muscogee County Jail in Georgia. He complained of a headache in his cell, then began saying he could not breathe. A CAT scan at Midtown Medical Center showed a brain bleed, which Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan gave as the cause of death. His body was sent to Atlanta for an autopsy.
