Matthew Settles
Matthew Settles, 54, died in 2022 while held in an isolation cell at the Otay Mesa jail in California. His parent, Brenda Settles, has said he was neglected there, and she spoke at a vigil about the reporter Kelly Davis, who she said was willing to tell stories others would not.
