Matthew Jagger
Matthew Jagger, 33, was from Contra Costa County. On Monday afternoon, August 31, 2015, he was held at High Desert State Prison near Susanville, California, when the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said two other men attacked him with a manufactured weapon on a prison yard. He was taken to an outside hospital, where he died of his injuries. The department said the two men were moved to administrative segregation while officials investigated.
