Matthew E. Koch
Matthew E. Koch, 42, a former Evansville resident, was held at Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill, Indiana. Correctional officers found him in his cell on Sunday, September 5, 2021. An autopsy found that he died of blood loss from multiple sharp-force trauma wounds, and Indiana State Police are treating the death as a homicide. State police say his cellmate is responsible, and the case is pending in court.
