Matthew David Lach
Matthew David Lach, 36, died on July 14, 2020, at the Davis County Correctional Facility in Farmington, Utah, where he was being held. According to the Davis County Sheriff's Office, he was found unresponsive in his cell early that Tuesday morning. One account says he had been placed in a quarantine unit because of intoxication and COVID-19 precautions. The sheriff's office said the death is under review by an outside police agency and the State Medical Examiner's Office, and no cause has been determined.
