Matthew Allen Tuftee
Matthew Tuftee, 37, died on August 13, 2016, while held at the Buster Cole Unit, a Texas state prison in Bonham. A Texas Department of Criminal Justice spokesman said he was found unresponsive in his cell and was pronounced dead at TMC Bonham less than half an hour later. The spokesman said the death was an apparent suicide, and authorities are investigating it.
