Mary Jane Fonder
Mary Jane Fonder was 75, and neighbors described her as a polite, somewhat eccentric woman who kept to herself, sculpted and painted, and often gave her artwork to friends. She had been held at the State Correctional Institution at Muncy, Pennsylvania, since December 2008, and she died in the prison infirmary on June 4, 2018. The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections and the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said she died of cardiac arrest. Her death came as investigators were reopening the 1993 disappearance of her father, Edward Fonder III, and news reports said she was the last person known to have seen him alive; officials said the search for his remains would continue.
