Marvin Buckmaster
Marvin Buckmaster, 66, died on November 16, 2019, while held at the Lake County Jail in Lakeport, California. Lt. Richard Ward of the Lake County Sheriff's Office said he was found unresponsive in his bunk in a dormitory-style area shortly before 3 a.m. that Saturday. Investigators from the sheriff's office and district attorney's office responded under the jail's in-custody death protocol. The sheriff's office said foul play was not suspected, and the cause of death is pending an autopsy.
