Martin Joseph MacNeill
Martin Joseph MacNeill, 61, died on April 9, 2017, in an outdoor yard at the Olympus Facility of Utah State Prison, where he was held. Correctional officers found him near a greenhouse that morning, and emergency responders were unable to save him and pronounced him dead at the scene. His lawyers said there was a strong suspicion that he took his own life. The Utah Department of Corrections said there were no obvious signs of foul play and that the cause of death is still under investigation.
