Martin Cole-Haag

Martin Cole-Haag, 24, of Freehold, New Jersey, died in May 2015 while held at the Ocean County Jail in Toms River. Warden Sandra Mueller said a corrections officer found him unresponsive in his cell during a health and welfare check, and that he was the only occupant of the cell. He was pronounced dead at Community Medical Center in Toms River. An autopsy is pending, and the death is being investigated by the jail's Investigations Bureau, the county prosecutor's office and the sheriff's criminal investigations unit.

Cause of death, as reported: Died by suicide. Anonymous sources told WOBM News that he hanged himself, and Warden Sandra Mueller said the autopsy is still pending.
