Marreo Mitchell
Marreo Mitchell, 35, died on November 28, 2015, at the William E. Donaldson Correctional Facility in Bessemer, Alabama, where he was being held. The Alabama Department of Corrections said he was stabbed during an altercation with two other people held at the facility, and that the fight began at 4:25 p.m. and he died at 4:53 p.m. The department said it is still working to determine what caused the altercation, and two people are being held while its investigations division reviews the case.
