Marquis Edwards, 35, died on October 20, 2026, at Southern Desert Correctional Center in Indian Springs, Nevada, where he was held in the custody of the Nevada Department of Corrections. The department announced his death in a news release on November 5, more than two weeks later, and said an autopsy was requested. The department has not stated a cause of death.
