Died in jail or a lockup
Mark LeDiet
Mark LeDiet, 64, of Indian Shores, was held at the Pinellas County Jail when he was taken to a hospital for an ongoing medical issue. He suffered a medical emergency while still at the hospital and was pronounced dead on the morning of March 16, 2026. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said detectives found no evidence that he was in an altercation or was injured while at the jail, and the death is under investigation.
