Mark Hanson
Mark Frederick Hanson died on November 25, 2011, at the Sterling Correctional Facility in Sterling, Colorado, where he was held in the custody of the Colorado Department of Corrections. The Denver Post reported that he was beaten to death. Two people held at the prison were suspected in his death and placed in segregation, and the department said the two men were held in different sections of the prison.
