Mark Davis Jr.
Mark Davis Jr., 25, died on May 7, 2013, in his cell at the Oahu Community Correctional Center, where he was being held before trial. Health workers on rounds found him dead, and attempts to revive him failed. The Honolulu Medical Examiner's Office classified the death as unattended and pending an autopsy, and the Department of Public Safety said there were no obvious signs of foul play or suicide at that time. A state senator asked the attorney general to review conditions at the facility after three deaths there in two months.
