Died in prison
Mark Buckner
Mark Buckner, 56, died on October 30, 2017, at the Snake River Correctional Institution in Oregon. The Oregon Department of Corrections says he told his cellmate around 2:15 p.m. that he was not feeling well, and that he became unresponsive and died about 15 minutes later while staff were attending to him. The department attributes the death to apparent natural causes. Oregon State Police are investigating.
