Mark B. Harris
Mark B. Harris, 55, was held at the United States Penitentiary (USP) Pollock in Louisiana. Staff at the prison found him unresponsive around 9 a.m. on July 12, 2022, and he was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he was pronounced dead. The Federal Bureau of Prisons said no staff or other people in custody were hurt and the public was not in danger. A later DCist report, published in October 2022, described him as a man from Washington, D.C., who was found in his cell in July, taken to hospital and later died.
