Died in jail or a lockup
Mark Anthony Connolly III
Mark Connolly III, 28, of Frankfort, died at the Franklin County Regional Jail on March 31, 2022, where he was being held. He was found unresponsive that morning and was pronounced dead at the jail. Jailer Jake Banta said he suspected illegal drugs, which he said are usually fentanyl, but that he was waiting for the autopsy report. Frankfort Police and the Franklin County Coroner's Office are investigating, and no cause or manner of death has been determined.
