Marissa Fresquez
Marissa Fresquez, 30, died on June 23, 2022, while held at the Pueblo County Jail in Pueblo, Colorado. Her father, Sonny, said the loss has left a hole in his chest, and her family held a vigil for her outside the jail in July 2022. The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office has not stated a cause or manner of death. Her cellmate reported that she had been vomiting through the night and was not checked on, and another person said she was going through drug withdrawal. Her family says the autopsy was inconclusive, toxicology results are still pending, and they have received little information about her death.
