Marion Luke
Marion Luke died on November 25, 2021, while held at Hays State Prison in Trion, Georgia. The Georgia Department of Corrections said another person held at the prison assaulted Luke around midday, and that staff took Luke to the medical unit to await EMS. The prison physician pronounced Luke dead shortly after noon. The department is investigating the death as a homicide and has not released the name of the man it says is responsible.
