Marcus J. Penman
Marcus J. Penman, 39, of Hopkinsville, died on April 25, 2017, while held at the Kentucky State Penitentiary in Eddyville. According to the news report, staff were called around 2:30 p.m. to a person who was not breathing, and a deputy coroner pronounced him dead at the scene. Kentucky State Police reported that he had begun harming himself and that staff tried to stop him. An autopsy reportedly found that the only signs of trauma appeared to be self-inflicted, but blood test results were pending and no official cause of death had been determined.
