Marco Tolbert
Marco Tolbert, 32, died on September 26, 2019, while held at the William E. Donaldson Correctional Facility in Bessemer, a state prison in Alabama. According to the Alabama Department of Corrections, his cellmate alerted officers after finding him hanging from a light fixture in his cell. The department called the death an apparent suicide and said it is investigating. Incarceration Transparency's records also list the cause as suicide by hanging.
