Marc Moreno was 18 years old, and his sister Jessica said he was humble, a good kid, close to his family, and someone who went out with his friends. He was held at the Benton County Jail in Washington state on March 11, 2016, when he died in his cell. His family said he had been in a mental health crisis and needed treatment, and that he was kept alone in a cell without a bed, toilet or water while his condition worsened over several days. The family's lawsuit against the county was settled for $1.2 million.
