Manuel Moreno
Manuel Moreno, 61, of Yorba Linda, was held at the Theo Lacy Facility in Orange County. According to the Orange County Sheriff's Department, jail staff sent him by ambulance to a local hospital on July 7, 2026, for medical issues, and he was pronounced dead there on July 8. The sheriff's department has said the cause and manner of death are pending an independent autopsy and toxicology screening, and the county has opened an in-custody death review and a district attorney investigation.
