Manuel Angel Blanco-Garcia
Manuel Angel Blanco-Garcia, 20, of Nashville, was held at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where he was found unresponsive in his cell during a routine count on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Sources say he was housed alone, and detention staff and medical personnel attempted to help before paramedics pronounced him dead. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office said its staff were responding to him at the time, and it extended sympathy to his family. The cause and manner of death remain pending, and the Rutherford County Medical Examiner's Office was asked to perform an autopsy to determine them.
