Makavelle Sampson
Makavelle Sampson, 26, died at Cook County Jail in Illinois in June 2024. His mother, Nakisha Sampson, said he would complain about his headaches almost every time they talked on the phone. The county pathologist listed an overdose as the manner of death, and an autopsy found a large brain tumor that the pathologist said was a significant contributing factor.
