Madison Sall, 45, died at the Butte County Jail in Oroville, California, on July 4, 2021. The Butte County Sheriff's Office said he was found unconscious on his bed in his cell around 6:30 p.m. The sheriff's office said it found no evidence of suicide or use of force. The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Sacramento County Coroner's Office.
