Luis Giovanny Aguilar
Luis Giovanny Aguilar was held at California State Prison, Sacramento in Folsom when he died on December 12, 2019. Correctional officers and officials said two other people held at the prison attacked him in the day room of a restricted housing unit. Officers fired foam baton rounds to stop the assault, and officials said they found a homemade weapon at the scene. Aguilar was pronounced dead about half an hour after the attack.
