Luis Figueroa
Luis Figueroa, 39, of London, Ohio, died at the Licking County Justice Center in Newark in the early hours of May 13, 2024. The Licking County Sheriff's Office said he was found unresponsive in his solely-occupied cell and that officers performed life-saving measures before he was pronounced dead at about 2:04 a.m. The sheriff's office said there were no signs of foul play and that preliminary indications point to suicide, and detectives are still investigating.
