Lucius Dotson

Lucius Dotson, a Black man, was hanged at the Chatham County jail in Savannah, Georgia, on the morning of January 22, 1892. Two newspapers, The Durham Daily Globe and The News and Observer, carried brief accounts of the execution the following day. He died in the custody of the Chatham County jail, which carried out the hanging.
