Lucio Gonzalez Perez

He was held at the Adams County Correctional Center in Mississippi, a privately run facility that housed noncitizens for the federal Bureau of Prisons. He had stomach pain and diarrhea for weeks, and after an HIV diagnosis only days before he became nonverbal and incontinent, he died of AIDS-related illnesses on January 18, 2011, 39 days after arriving at the facility. The facility operator's mortality review, by CCA, found that his HIV labs could have been drawn sooner.
