Louie Thomas, 39, died at a hospital on December 11, 2025, after being taken there from the Pinellas County Jail for medical evaluation on December 10. He had been held at the jail since October 29, 2025. The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said its Robbery/Homicide detectives are investigating and have found no evidence of physical altercations involving him at the jail. No cause of death had been released, and the manner of death is listed as pending.
