Longeno Jones
Longeno Jones, 51, was held at Mule Creek State Prison in Ione, California, when he died on May 21, 2025. According to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, he was found unresponsive in his cell during medication distribution and was pronounced dead at the prison's triage and treatment area at 5:45 p.m. CDCR says it is investigating his death as a homicide with the Amador County District Attorney's Office, and the Amador County Coroner will determine the official cause of death.
